October’s new Moon in Libra spotlights relationships. And it's not just romantic connections that are thrown under the cosmic microscope. Your significant other could be your parent, bestie, sister, partner, or lover. In fact, anyone you do life with could be considered your #1 person under this Libra lunation.

Relationships are fragile things. How can they not be when they are the sum of two constantly evolving humans? Like both sides of Libra’s scales, it takes two to tango. So, when things go pear-shaped, it takes a tandem effort to fix your relationship mojo.

Mounting pressures, responsibilities, financial fears and communication issues take their toll on the most loving relationships. And let’s not forget that Mercury is currently retrograding through Libra too.

If your meetups have been more like meltdowns, then this new Moon seeks to restore love, peace and harmony. More than anything, La Luna wants to get you both back on the same page.

To do this, examine how your relationship lost its footing. Check your give-and-take ratio. Has one of you become obsessive about the other? Are money worries causing you to bicker? Have you become so embroiled in your own world that you've neglected your person (or vice versa)?

Once you’ve pinpointed the problem, talk it out. Mercury’s retrograde through Libra encourages introspective communication - no secrets allowed! But here’s the clincher; the key to a successful discussion, is to listen as much as you speak.

And then, this new Moon delivers a fair and reasonable solution, understanding or compromise to bring back the love that was there all along.
